Inside Sales Manager

AAQUIS, the national leader in air handler renewal, is seeking an Inside Sales Manager to join our growing sales organization at our headquarters in Orlando, FL. This is a newly created, player-coach role designed to accelerate pipeline growth, improve execution, and develop a high-performing Inside Sales team.

The Inside Sales Manager will report directly to the Sr. Vice President of Sales and will be responsible for leading, coaching, and actively contributing to a team of 4–5 Inside Sales Representatives (ISRs). This role is not purely managerial; the Inside Sales Manager is expected to personally prospect, qualify opportunities, and meet individual sales activity and performance expectations, while also driving team results.

This position plays a critical role in AQUIS’ customer acquisition and revenue growth strategy by combining hands-on selling with leadership, accountability, and continuous improvement of inside sales processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Player-Coach Responsibilities

  • Personally execute core Inside Sales Representative responsibilities, including outbound calling, email outreach, account research, and lead qualification.
  • Generate and identify new sales opportunities through research, analysis, and discovery, with a strong emphasis on outbound calling.
  • Employ a multi-pronged prospecting approach that prioritizes telephone contact and does not rely on email alone.
  • Research target accounts to identify key decision-makers, uncover needs, and generate interest in AQUIS solutions.
  • Qualify opportunities and route sales-ready leads to Regional Sales Directors (RSDs) for further development and closure.
  • Maintain accurate and timely activity, lead, and opportunity records in Salesforce.

_ Leadership & Management Responsibilities_

  • Lead, coach, and motivate a team of 4–5 Inside Sales Representatives to meet or exceed individual and team goals.
  • Set clear expectations around activity levels, quality standards, accountability, and results.
  • Provide ongoing coaching, call feedback, training, and development to improve individual and team performance.
  • Foster a sales culture centered on excitement, urgency, accountability, collaboration, and success.
  • Partner closely with the Sr. VP of Sales and Regional Sales Directors to align inside sales efforts with overall sales strategy and territory priorities.
  • Assist in onboarding and ramping new Inside Sales Representatives.
  • Monitor performance metrics, pipeline health, and conversion rates, and recommend process improvements as needed.

Experience, Skills & Attributes

To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will possess the following:

  • Proven track record of success meeting or exceeding sales quotas in an inside sales or B2B selling environment.
  • Prior experience leading, mentoring, or informally managing inside sales or SDR/BDR teams preferred.
  • Strong understanding of solution-based, B2B selling and lead qualification methodologies.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Pleasant, confident phone presence with a positive, professional, and helpful attitude.
  • Highly organized, disciplined, and metrics-driven.
  • Strong work ethic, commitment to excellence, and desire to be part of a winning team.
  • Energetic, driven, resourceful, and tenacious.
  • Ability to balance hands-on selling responsibilities with team leadership and coaching.
  • 5+ years of stable, related inside sales experience as a proven performer.
  • Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

Immediate consideration will be given to candidates who:

  • Have knowledge and/or experience in HVAC, Facilities Management, specialty coatings, Indoor Air Quality (IAQ), or energy control.
  • Have demonstrated success in lead generation and high-volume outbound calling environments.
  • Have experience participating in or delivering formal sales training.
