Interior Design Coordinator | Maternity Leave Cover Until Feb 2026

Are you a creative powerhouse with a passion for designing incredible spaces? The AVC Interior Design Team is on the lookout for its next design champion to step in as Interior Design Coordinator for a maternity leave cover role! You’ll be working closely with the QLD Interior Lead to revitalise iconic local pubs and bring fresh energy to Brownfield & Minor Refresh Projects.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Assist in developing design briefs & scopes of work
• Plan furniture layouts, create schedules & handle tenders for projects
• Source, track & layer materials and design elements
• Manage budgets and ensure everything stays on track
• Coordinate furniture delivery, placement & landscaping for refresh projects

This full-time contract role kicks off ASAP (ideally within 2-4 weeks), so if you're ready to hit the ground running, we’d love to hear from you!

What We’re Looking For:

• Prior experience in a similar role – Interior Design, Display Home Staging, Visual Merchandising, or any visual/creative role will be highly regarded!
• A creative eye and passion for design
• Ability to work independently but thrive in a team
• A keen learner excited to grow in the Interiors field (training available!)
• Hospitality background/knowledge (bonus points!)
• Strong communication skills – both verbal & written
• Attention to detail and a drive for results
  Experience with design software (Bluebeam is a plus!)
