Duration: 6 months. We prefer students able to extend up to a maximum of 12 months.

Weekly availability: 40 hours

You will support our Onboarding Team, playing a key role in developing onboarding practices within Philips. You will have the opportunity to closely connect with a global network of new joiners and HR teams to enrich the onboarding experience across the organization. This internship will challenge you to drive positive change in onboarding practices company-wide, empowering you to design and implement impactful improvements.

You are responsible for

• Support in organizing and running monthly global onboarding events and new leader onboarding sessions, to ensure an engaging experience for new joiners and new leaders at Philips.

• Support in the development of onboarding resources, ensuring new joiners have the tools and knowledge necessary to thrive in their roles from the outset.

• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a seamless onboarding experience, working together to streamline processes and deliver a consistent, high quality onboarding experience across different regions and businesses.

• Contribute to tracking and reporting on onboarding practices across Philips, capturing and analyzing data to assess its effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.

To succeed in this role, you‘ll need a customer-first attitude and the following

• Studying towards your University degree in Master in these, or related fields: Business Administration, Business Management, Organizational Psychology, Sociology or Human Resources

• Good knowledge of English language both verbally and written

• Analytical thinker, ability to swap between the bigger picture and details

• Self-starter, not afraid to look for information and reach out to new people

• Ideally experience with power point and excel skills and some knowledge in HR

Our intern remuneration package:

• Monthly full-time allowance between €500 - €700 gross, depending on educational level and if you would need to relocate to The Netherlands. If you perform a part-time internship, you will receive an allowance pro-rata.

• Housing compensation, in case of relocating to the vicinity of the office, €300,- net if location is in the vicinity of Amsterdam, €255,- net for all other Philips locations. You need to provide a rental contract of the landlord, and your normal home-work travel distance need to be more than 50 km or travel time (one way trip) need to be more than 1.5 hours.

• Travel compensation, if you are not eligible for a free public transport card; you will receive max. €192,- net

• Paid holidays per internship term.

• The opportunity to buy Philips products at our Philips shop

Please note that to be considered for an internship, you need to be registered as a student during the entire internship period. Formal documentation of which may be requested at any time. Students from outside the EU need to fill in a NUFFIC agreement, which needs to be signed by the student and the university. In case your University will support the UNL contract, the NUFFIC will not be needed.
