Internship Summer 2025

Position Summary Chord Energy has internship opportunities available for the Summer of 2025. These individuals will work at our downtown Houston, TX corporate office with opportunities to travel to our field offices in North Dakota. Hybrid work schedule is an option for remote work on Mondays and Fridays. Essential Job Functions Interns are assigned a mentor and a project where they will gain valuable experience and contribute to the Chord Energy team while managing day-to-day duties.

Interns will:

• Gain a fundamental understanding of the energy exploration and production industry
• Participate in project-oriented work assignments related to assigned intern role

• Finance
• Accounting
• Engineering
• Development
• IT
• HR

• Pursuing Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
• Experience with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Good communication, leadership, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
• Strong work ethic with internal drive to succeed
• Physical Requirements and Working Conditions: Must possess the ability to work in a standard office setting and use standard office equipment, including a computer, copier, files, telephone, and fax; maintain attention to detail despite multi-tasking; acuity to read printed materials or a computer screen and communicate in person or a telephone conversation

• Previous Oil and Gas related internship experience
• Strong academic performance in core programs
