Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and strategic IT Manager/Systems Analyst to lead technology initiatives and drive IT project execution for a growing U.S.-based energy consulting and advisory company. This role focuses heavily on project management, infrastructure upgrades, systems modernization, and aligning IT strategy with business goals. While some hands-on administrative tasks will be part of the role, the ideal candidate will demonstrate leadership in IT planning and execution, particularly within the Microsoft Azure and 365 ecosystem.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage and execute IT infrastructure and systems projects, including cloud migrations, identity management upgrades, and security overhauls.
  • Serve as a key strategic partner to leadership, translating business needs into scalable IT solutions.
  • Lead cross-functional IT projects with internal teams and third-party vendors, ensuring deadlines, scope, and budget requirements are met.
  • Oversee the Azure/365 ecosystem, including Azure AD, Exchange Online, and related productivity tools.
  • Maintain and improve disaster recovery, system backups, and business continuity strategies.
  • Collaborate with third-party SOC and cybersecurity vendors to improve detection, response, and compliance (e.g., SoC2).
  • Oversee systems documentation and asset lifecycle processes, ensuring alignment with industry best practices.
  • Provide Tier 2/3 systems support on an as-needed basis, including escalated issues from internal users or partners.
  • Support strategic upgrades and modernization of legacy systems to enhance performance and resiliency.
  • Participate in after-hours or weekend maintenance (3–5 times per year) and respond to critical issues as needed.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in IT management, infrastructure, or systems leadership roles.
  • Strong project management skills with a track record of leading successful IT implementations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, and identity and access management.
  • Deep understanding of IT systems architecture, disaster recovery, and backup protocols.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage third-party vendors, including SOC and cybersecurity partners.
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to lead both technical execution and strategic planning.
  • Willingness to provide hands-on support in high-impact situations when needed.
  • Comfortable working remotely with 2–4 hours of daily overlap in U.S. Central Time Zone.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting oil & gas ERP and accounting systems (e.g., BOLO/P2 BOLO, DocVue, OpenInvoice).
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Intune, endpoint management, and eDiscovery.
  • Exposure to scripting or automation (e.g., PowerShell) and infrastructure monitoring tools.
  • Prior experience supporting SoC2 or similar IT compliance frameworks.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php50,000.00 - Php57,000.00 per month
