It Operations Manager

Main Responsibilities

Infrastructure Management

• Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of the organization's IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, storage, and other hardware.

• Ensure the availability, performance, and security of all IT systems and services.

• Develop and implement IT policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Team Leadership

• Manage a team of IT professionals, including system administrators, network engineers, and support staff.

• Provide guidance, coaching, and mentorship to team members to foster their professional development.

• Delegate tasks effectively and monitor progress to ensure timely completion of projects and tasks.

Vendor Management

• Collaborate with vendors and third-party service providers to procure IT equipment and services.

• Evaluate vendor proposals and negotiate contracts to ensure the best value for the organization.

• Monitor vendor performance and address any issues or concerns promptly.

Incident Response and Problem Resolution

• Develop and implement incident response procedures to address IT emergencies and minimize downtime.

• Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to resolve IT-related issues and outages.

• Conduct post-incident reviews to identify root causes and implement preventive measures.

Security & Compliance

• Implement and maintain security measures to protect the organization's IT infrastructure from cyber threats and vulnerabilities.

• Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards, such as GDPR, HIPAA, and PCI DSS.

• Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments to identify potential weaknesses and gaps.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.

• Proven experience in IT operations management, with at least 4-5 years in a leadership role.

• In-depth knowledge of IT infrastructure, including networking, servers, storage, and cloud technologies.

• Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices.

• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

• Relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, CISSP, PMP) are a plus.
