Réalta Technologies are currently looking for an IT/OT Engineer with over 10 years' professional experience in an IT and/or OT support environment.
Experience in the Pharmaceutical/Manufacturing/GMP environment would be advantageous but not essential.
Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and maintain LAN/WAN and wireless network infrastructure, including Ethernet and Wi-Fi systems, to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime.
  • Configure, deploy, and troubleshoot Cisco networking equipment, including routers, switches, and wireless access points, in both LAN and Wi-Fi environments.
  • Install, configure, and support a wide range of IT hardware including servers, workstations, Ethernet switches, wireless access points, NAS devices, thin clients, firewalls, and backup systems.
  • Deploy and manage Microsoft Windows operating systems (Windows 10/11, Server 2008-2022), ensuring compatibility within domain environments.
  • Administer Active Directory services, including user and group management, GPOs, OU structures, and domain policies.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Windows operating systems, including performance bottlenecks, boot issues, and system errors across both servers and workstations.
  • Build, deploy, and manage Hyper-V virtualization environments, including VM provisioning, storage configuration, and host-level maintenance.
  • Install and support Dell hardware, including rack-mounted and tower servers, desktops, and workstations, ensuring all systems are updated and operational.
  • Provide end-to-end support and troubleshooting for network, domain, hardware, operating systems, and application-related issues across a diverse IT environment.
  • Implement and maintain IT and OT cybersecurity measures, ensuring compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.
  • Configure and manage firewalls, specifically Palo Alto and Cisco models, including rule sets, NAT configurations, and VPN tunnels.
  • Support the planning, installation, and maintenance of structured cabling systems, including copper and fiber optic solutions, ensuring proper documentation and labeling.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive system documentation, including User Requirement Specifications (URS), Design Specifications (DS), Detailed Design Specifications (DDS), and Validation/Verification records in compliance with industry standards.
Job Requirements
  • 5-10 years experience required in the following areas.
  • General Networking (Ethernet LAN & Wifi networks)
  • Cisco networking & hardware (LAN & Wifi) configuration, deployment, troubleshooting
  • Installation, configuration & troubleshooting of various hardware (Servers, Workstations, Ethernet Switches, Wireless APs, NAS’, Thin clients, Firewalls, Backup systems, etc..)
  • Windows operating systems deployments, environments and domains (Win10/11, w2k8, w2k12, w2k16, w2k19, w2k22)
  • Active directory domain & policy mgmt
  • Windows OS’ (server & workstation) troubleshooting
  • HyperV virtualization environments (building, deploying, managing, troubleshooting)
  • Dell server and workstation hardware installations, support & troubleshooting
  • Network/OS/Domain/Hardware/application support & troubleshooting
  • IT and/or OT Cyber Security
  • PaloAlto and/or Cisco firewalls
  • Ethernet Network cabling infrastructure (copper & fibre)
  • Systems documentation (URS/DS/DDS/Validation/Verification/etc…)
