About the Role:
- Develop new features and enhancements in line with standards.
- Create functional design specifications and/or user stories.
- Identify and implement fixes for live system issues.
- Implement integration and automation tests as required.
- Support testing and production releases.
- Maintain and update project development tasks in relevant planning tools.
- Collaborate with testers, ensuring that information is shared, and testers are kept up to date on expected functionality and timelines.
- Conduct root cause analysis of issues and manage incident resolution.
About you:
- Previous experience as a Java Developer in a structured development environment.
- Knowledge/experience of project delivery methodologies, application development lifecycle, waterfall development model, agile development model and hybrid development model.
- Excellent understanding of the design and build phase of the project lifecycle.
- Strong ability to collaborate with stakeholders to refine business requirements.
- Experience working effectively alongside application development and technical colleagues, testers, support teams and all levels of management.
- Proven experience with the following technologies: java, angular, spring, HTML, CSS, javascript, UNIX, SQL, weblogic, unit/ integration test and Junit.
