Journeyman/Woman Plumber

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Service Plumber to join a growing team in Saint John, NB. This role is ideal for a knowledgeable professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys problem-solving while providing top-tier plumbing service to residential and/or commercial clients. Unlike new construction roles, this position focuses on diagnosing and repairing plumbing systems in existing buildings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Respond promptly to scheduled service calls and emergency plumbing issues
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair plumbing systems including leaks, clogs, water
• heaters, sump pumps, fixtures, and piping
• Install plumbing fixtures and equipment in accordance with building codes and
• manufacturer specifications
• Conduct routine maintenance checks and recommend proactive solutions to prevent
• future issues
• Provide clear communication with customers about required work, pricing, and timelines
• Complete work orders and service reports accurately and in a timely manner
• Maintain tools, company vehicle, and equipment in clean, working condition
• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulatory requirements
• Represent the company in a professional and courteous manner

Qualifications:

• Journeyperson Plumber Certification (or equivalent Red Seal designation)
• Valid plumbing license for New Brunswick
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a service plumber role (residential or commercial)
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Comfortable using mobile devices for job tracking and reporting

Working Conditions:

• On-site visits to homes and commercial properties across Saint John and surrounding
• areas
• May include occasional after-hours or weekend on-call shifts
• Lifting and carrying tools and equipment, and working in confined spaces when required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.32-$37.57 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
