Jr. Paralegal Officer

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Paralegal provides support and assistance to the Operations Team and the Legal Department in its daily activities.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Assists the Operations Team in managing borrower loan delinquency through issuance of demand letters and visitation/counselling of non-paying borrowers.
  • Assists the Corporate Legal Counsel in the delivery of legal services (litigation, non-litigation, corporate services, and regulatory compliance).
  • Knowledge and expertise regarding the legal system and substantive and procedural law which qualify him/her to do work of a legal nature under the supervision of the Corporate Legal Counsel.
  • Draft, revise, and organize documents such as complaints, affidavits, agreements, and applications to government agencies.
  • Monitors, files and follow-up status of cases with the Municipal Trial Courts, Regional Trial Courts, Court of Appeals, Supreme Court, including administrative and quasi-judicial bodies.
  • Coordinates with the court Sheriff to facilitate the attachment, execution, or enforcement of court decisions. Assist in the preparation of pleadings; position paper and other Legal documents.
  • Responsible for filing, monitoring, and updating legal documents to different government agencies.
  • Such other allied responsibilities may be assigned from time to time.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Amenable to stay-in arrangements but open to other options; willing to conduct field / branch visits within the deployment area.
  • Graduate/undergraduate of Law, Legal Management or any related course.
  • Fresh graduates are welcomed to apply.
  • Full-time position and willing to travel.
  • With a working knowledge of Philippine labor laws, such as rules and regulations of the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), and rules of procedure of the National Labor Relations Commission (NLRC).
  • Must have effective verbal and written communication skills, legal management, administrative skills, and computer software literacy.
  • Must have a basic working knowledge of legal documents and court procedures.
  • Must have previous experience in securing permits, licenses, clearances, and/or certifications from concerned government agencies or local government units.
  • Must have effective office management skills; knowledgeable in drafting minutes of meetings and transcription.
  • Must have effective interpersonal skills and possesses a good work ethic.
  • A Team player, fast learner, flexible, and of solid integrity.
  • Hardworking, flexible, and keen on details.
  • With excellent interpersonal skills.

Pay: Php20,000.00 - Php30,000.00 per month
