Junior Account Manager

- Under supervision, grow Givaudan Fragrance Ingredients Business with designated accounts by managing top and bottom lines
- Cultivate and manage customer relationships within portfolio of accounts
- Monitor customer and competitor activity and maintain customer information
- Track Account Plans for key accounts
- Identify/create opportunities for Givaudan to capture market share
- Identify customer requirements, leverage internal resources and coordinate cross-functional cooperation(e.g. Operation, Planning, Supply Chain, Purchasing, Customer Care etc)
- Follow KPIs versus targets (Sales, Gross Profit) and take corrective actions if necessary
- Negotiate pricing agreements within guidelines
- Manage and resolve customer complaints and ensure prompt resolution
- University degree (or equivalent)
- 5 years of overall experience
- Verbal and written command of English
- Excellent Excel skills
- Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with customers
- Communication skills
- Basic negotiation skills
- Passion for the Fragrance Industry
- Customer Relationship Management
- Builds and maintains effective relationships with customers, decision-makers and influencers
- Identifies value drivers for key customers and understands how to position Givaudan offerings
- Identifies new opportunities for turnover growth
- Provides a high customer service level
- Develops and delivers compelling presentations
- Understands customer strategy, initiatives, priorities
- Understands annual budgetary parameters and profitability principles
- Monitor performance and modify strategy and tactics
- Good skill in SAP and other company systems
- Understands Givaudan's business process
- Competent olfactive knowledge and perfumery language
- Knowledge of industry and customer regulatory requirements, including technical criteria and/or specifications
- Communicates effectively across functions and geographies
