JUNIOR ACCOUNTANT

We are a family private equity office with multiple investment companies and international offices. Our investments include

• renewable energy projects in Latin America,
• large-scale real estate projects in the US,
• auto dealership,
• self-storage facilities,
• hotel operation, and
• residential/commercial land development.

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Junior Accountant. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with various accounting tasks, including bookkeeping, financial analysis, and preparing financial reports.

The Junior Accountant must assist with day-to-day accounting operations through the following tasks:

• Analysis of transactions and posting journal entries to ensure all transactions are recorded with accuracy and completeness.
• Update accounts receivable and issuing invoices.
• Update accounts payable records.
• Reconciliation of bank and credit card transactions
• Assistance with payroll processing and related tax filings
• Support the EOM and EOY process and other accounting and financial task assigned in the normal course of operations.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting
• At least one year of prior experience as bookkeeper
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks Online and Desktop
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Bilingual (Spanish)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $48,000.00 - $52,000.00 per year
