Reporting to: Group Sales Manager
As a Field Sales Representative (Junior Sales Development Officer- (Jr. SDO), you will identify new business opportunities through effective market scanning and recover inactive accounts in a specified region or territory(ies); Ensure said accounts hit sales and collection targets upon activation/reactivation.
Other responsibilities include:
- Acquires and develops new buying accounts and revives inactive accounts under the General Trade Sales Channel to expand regional presence and distribution reach of FELCO.
- Achieves sales targets from a successful negotiation from both potential and revived customers in accordance with the Basic Call Procedure within the assigned region.
- Builds and strengthens relationships with both active and inactive accounts by engaging in effective negotiations to ensure positive customer experience and support sales growth.
- Effectively and efficiently manages coverage planning, organizing documents, prospecting new customers, merchandising and promotions, and maximizes utilization of the SDO’s tools of trade to maximize productivity and achieve exceptional results.
To succeed and grow in this role, you will be required to meet the following qualifications:
Educational Background:
Graduate of any 4-year Bachelor's Degree in any field
Professional Experience:
Sales experience is an advantage
Skills Required:
- Effective Communication and presentation skills to articulate product benefits, can clearly present ideas both in verbal and in written formats, build rapport with customers and drive successful sales outcomes.
- Negotiation and Persuasion Skills, anchored on winning the customers through benefit selling.
- Strong prospecting and lead generation skills through strategic and proactive methods resulting in increased business opportunities and revenue growth
- Account Development, to build and maintain goodwill across all customers of the assigned territory
- Excellent organization and time management skills to efficiently prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and balance field and non-field activities to increase productivity.
- Collaboration, through sharing and application of best practices to deliver good results both for FELCO and its customers.
