Junior Sales Associate – Travel Specialist (Hybrid, Full-Time)
Location: Ireland-based (hybrid work model – approx. 50% office-based or attending team meetings)

We’re currently recruiting for an Junior Sales Associate to join our fast-paced and collaborative team. This is an ideal role for a self-starter looking to launch a career in travel sales and gain hands-on experience in the tourism and hospitality sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle inbound sales enquiries via phone, email, and web leads
  • Create and refine custom itineraries for self-drive and guided vacations
  • Manage hotel reservations, car rental bookings, and driver-guide scheduling
  • Conduct follow-ups with warm leads and manage client expectations
  • Liaise with suppliers and build relationships with partner hotels and service providers
  • Use booking systems and CRM platforms to generate quotes, process payments, and issue confirmations
  • Deliver excellent customer service through every interaction
  • Provide destination insight and travel advice with a strong focus on Ireland and the UK
  • Work closely with the Sales Manager and wider team on client communications and performance tracking

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong interest in the travel and tourism industry
  • Solid understanding of Ireland’s geography, culture, tourism, and hospitality landscape
  • Comfortable managing a varied workload with overlapping deadlines
  • Flexible approach to working hours, including occasional evening calls with North American clients
  • Excellent communication skills – written and verbal
  • Confident phone manner with a customer-first mindset
  • Ability to multitask and adapt to a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and a proactive attitude
  • Tech-savvy: familiar with Google Workspace, CRM systems (e.g. Monday, Salesforce), VOIP systems, MS Teams, and online booking engines
  • Previous experience in travel, tourism, or customer service a plus, but not essential

Additional Requirements

  • You must be based in Ireland – this is essential
  • This is a hybrid role: approximately 50% of your time will involve working from our Dublin office or attending scheduled team meetings at other designated venues
  • A suitable home working environment (quiet, professional, with stable internet) is required and may be subject to screening
  • You may also be asked to attend off-site meetings, events, or familiarisation trips across Ireland as required by the Sales Manager or Managing Director

Pay: From €26,000.00 per year
