Junior Sales Executive

On behalf of our client, a leading Irish motor group, we are looking for an ambitious and dynamic Junior Sales Executive to join the team in Dublin!

Reporting to the General Manager, you will be expected to deliver excellent customer service, whilst learning on the job about all aspects of the motor industry.

You will ideally be working in the customer service or hospitality industry in your current position, with a strong interest in the motor industry and an excellent work ethic.

This is a permanent full-time position with genuine opportunity for career progression in a dynamic and fast paced environment.

Responsibilities will include.

• Training on and development in all stages of a defined sales process including meet and greet, qualification, part exchange appraisal, test drive, handover and customer follow up.
• Following up on online, phone and showroom sales enquiries.
• Scheduling deliveries and handovers of both new and used vehicles to customers.
• Helping to maintain the showroom displays and used car display areas.
• Ensuring that used stock is displayed to the highest of standards.
• Carrying out monthly stock checks and used car valuation reports.
• Meeting and greeting of prospective and existing customers.
• Maintaining, reporting and accurately recording all customer contact details using Salesforce.
• Assist the dealership in effectively prospecting for new business.
• Act with honesty, integrity and professionalism in all dealings and transactions with our customers.

Desirable experience and skills

• Previous customer service or hospitality experience is desirable.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and negotiating skills.
• You will also be a well-organised individual who is process orientated.
• A strong work ethic with the ability to achieve desired results.
• Proven ability to work to high standards.
• An appetite to learn and develop.
• Strong IT and administration skills.
• Ability to work calmly under pressure.
• Have a smart, professional appearance.
• Hold a full, clean and valid Irish B driver’s license.
