Junior System Administrator

Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated Junior System Administrator to join our dynamic team. The candidate will be a significant contributor in a four-person team that manages all DXT Unix/Linux IT resources, working closely with the other team members and with the system end users, such as data base administrators, developers, analysts and data scientists, handling day by day activities, new requirements and issues.

Key Responsibilities:

Requirements:

• Strong experience with containerization systems
• Sound Linux System administrator skills
• Solid TCP/IP networking experience, needed to properly interact with network management team
• Shell scripting basic knowledge, to maintain legacy code
• Oracle RDBMS or PostgreSQL knowledge is a plus
• Commercial Cloud providers (AWS, OCI, Azure) experience is also a plus
• Bachelor's or master’s degree in STEM are preferred, but not mandatory
• Appetite to improve and learn in-depth
• Resourcefulness with strong communication and analytical skills
• Ability to establish a work relationship with the internal customers
• Able to work effectively during off hours on-call activities
