Location: Ballymount, Dublin 12 with requirement to travel to client sites across Ireland
Annual Salary: €50,000 €55,000 DOE
Hours: 40 per week
Schedule: Monday to Friday

Your Role
Your role involves being the Key Account Manager (contract manager) for designated key account(s) across a designated region or contract for associated G4S services. The purpose of this position is to oversee the service delivery, commercial compliance, management, and safety programs for an account / region and manage performance metrics in accordance with account KPI's (Key Performance Indicators).
The primary role of a G4S Key Account Manager is to develop and implement effective security strategies and protocols to protect the client and company against threats, theft, vandalism, and other security risks. This involves conducting risk assessments, identifying vulnerabilities, and devising appropriate security measures. To mitigate risks, they develop emergency response plans, conduct drills, and training sessions and monitor surveillance systems to respond to security incidents promptly. In case of security breaches, they investigate incidents and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
Objectives of This Role
- Developing and implementing robust security strategies and policies to protect the client / company’s assets, employees, and associated facilities.
- Assessing potential risks and vulnerabilities of the designated account(s), investigating security breaches, and reinforcing appropriate measures to mitigate them.
- Leading and managing a team of security personnel; including hiring, training, and performance management, as per the G4S employee handbook.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure integration of security requirements into the client business processes and projects.
- Conducting regular security assessments of your designated account(s), audits, and inspections to identify gaps and areas for improvement, utilising the ISO process for the same.
- Maintaining and updating emergency response plans, ensuring all employees know their roles and responsibilities.
- Collaborating with external stakeholders, such as law enforcement agencies and security vendors, to enhance security measures and respond to incidents.
- Fostering a culture of security awareness and training employees on security protocols and procedures.
- To be the custodian of the G4S policies and procedures.
Key Areas of Responsibility
- Develop and implement extensive security plans, policies, and procedures to protect personnel, assets, and information associated with your designated account(s).
- Lead, train, and supervise a team of security personnel, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively, as per the G4S guidelines.
- Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and areas for improvement for the client.
- Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to develop and maintain emergency response plans and procedures on your designated account(s).
- Manage access control systems, surveillance equipment, and other security technologies to ensure proper functioning and effectiveness as per the account(s) specification and requirement.
- Collaborate with other G4S internal departments, such as human resources and IT, to ensure compliance with security protocols and standards.
- Investigate security breaches, incidents, and violations, then document findings and implement corrective actions as per the G4S Health and Safety / Compliance policies.
- Maintain strong relationships with external partners, such as law enforcement agencies and security vendors, to enhance security capabilities for both your designated account(s) and the company as a whole.
- Educate employees on security awareness, policies, and procedures through training programs and communication initiatives.
- Stay informed about the latest security technologies, trends, and regulatory requirements, and make recommendations for enhancements to the security program.
- Ensure that all activities, on your designated account(s), are carried out in accordance with account KPIs (Key Performance Indicators).
- Manage to establish performance metrics in the area of work order compliance, such as response time, completion time, overall completion percentage, etc. in accordance with account(s) and/or internal metrics.
- Manage productivity and quality of service by the security team, analysing and measuring team services ensuring performance and productivity targets are met.
- Manage the P&L performance of your designated accounts, ensuring budget and invoicing monthly is accurate and submitted on time to the client, especially variable and temporary works as per the G4S credit and billing terms / policies.
- Ensure the team plan, schedule, requisition materials, and assess workload to agreed regular reporting periods to achieve output time on delivery targets cost effectively and that the necessary manpower, competence, skill, knowledge, and any other resources.
- Ensure all compliance documentation is held and maintained in accordance with the PSA requirements and G4S policies.
- Maintain close working relationships with the other Operations / Key Account Managers in order to achieve management excellence and ensure the business achieves its goals and standards are maintained for the designated account(s).
- Be responsible for compliance with national regulations. Examples include fire and life safety, environmental, or industry/client specific third-party compliance standards such as ISO and PSA.
- Take responsibility for ownership of any service-related customer complaints (internal & external) and ensure these are dealt with effectively and efficiently.
- Provide formal supervision to individual employees within a single functional or operational area.
- Plan and monitor appropriate staffing levels and utilization of labor, including overtime.
- Prepare and deliver performance appraisal for staff across the designated accounts.
- Mentor and coach team members to further develop competencies.
- Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with the G4S and client values.
- Be responsible for identification of improvement projects for clients, including cost analysis to be utilized in the preparation of capital budgets.
- Manage vendor (sub-contractor) performance on all existing/new outsource provider service contracts to ensure compliant service delivery for the account(s).
- Oversee safety programs are implemented and adhered to in conjunction with client specific safety requirements, and actively promote working safely and the importance of safe work practices in-line with G4S policies.
- Document inspection report results and rectify any issues, concerns, etc. with the client.
- Ensure the team comply with all legislative requirements and health and safety obligations covering risk assessments and method statements, quality control, and operational processes including regular housekeeping and maintenance regimes are all documented and followed to effect a safe working environment.
- Take on ad-hoc projects from time to time as deeded necessary by the Operations Director or applicable company representative.
- Any other reasonable duties or responsibilities deemed by G4S Leadership or Operations Director.
