This role can be based in either Auckland or Christchurch
A Taste of What You’ll Be Doing
You will be fully accountable as the Key Account Manager for Foodstuffs South Island which will involve business planning, regular customer contact, program management, delivery of all financial objectives and the execution of category strategy
Ensure agreed budgeted Net Sales and profit goals are met through effective management
Design plans that reflect through-the-line activation of category and brand programs that maximize execution and turnover
Implement and use forecasting systems for national forecasts by product
Work towards a variety of KPI’s including case fill and forecasting accuracy
Develop and maintain promotional programs ensuring promotions are up to date reflecting customer submissions
We’re Looking for Someone With
To be successful in this role you will need to have worked within an Account Management role within FMCG and thrive collaborating with customers. You will be able to demonstrate ownership, possessing the ability to partner with your customer to unlock commercial opportunity and maintain effective consistency. You will also have:
A minimum of 2 years experience in Account Management within FMCG
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, being able to build rapport and nurture collaborative relationships with ease
Strong negotiation skills, with lead involvement in prior category reviews
A strategic mindset with demonstrable experience making informed commercial business decisions
Advanced Excel and analytical skills
