WebBeds is the world’s fastest growing provider of accommodation distribution services to the travel industry. Our products incorporate distribution APIs, payment integrations, ERP integration, Data Lakes, User Interfaces, and others. In this role you will

Be responsible for achieving KPI targets set by the company for your allocated regions, securing the target number and mix of hotels with competitive pricing and availability as defined by the Regional Director, Chains. You will manage the contracting process for key destinations in the Americas and oversee commercial relationships with key regional hotel chains.


Key responsibilities

  • Ensure hotels are contracted within specified deadlines.
  • Identify ‘must-have’ hotels within a destination and contract where appropriate.
  • Organize regular visits to local hotels clusters to educate them on how we work.
  • Negotiate added value deals, overrides, marketing and special offers.
  • Coordinate with the optimization manager to get support with competitiveness analysis.
  • Regularly monitor competitor pricing and availability in line with demand.
  • Advise on preferred partner hotels in the relevant destinations, negotiate exclusive deals.
  • Address and resolve any standard/service level issues with suppliers.
  • Ensure hotels content is updated and complete on our end.
  • Communicate destination information regarding peak dates, trade shows, visitor information, etc internally.
  • Register with relevant tourist boards to gain information and to increase the company profile.
  • Manage the supplier relationship throughout the period of the contract, including dealing with closeout requests and book-out issues and liaising with relevant departments accordingly.
  • Co-operate with Health and Safety team to ensure reports are completed and up to date.
  • Communicate both internally and externally in a professional manner, keeping within the corporate guidelines.


The skills we would love to see in your suitcase!

  • Fluency in English and Spanish, including both written and spoken communication skills.
  • Knowledge of relevant BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.) and additional programming languages would be highly beneficial and a plus for this role.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collect, organize, and analyse complex data from multiple sources to identify trends and insights.
  • Strong negotiation skills, commercial acumen, pro-active, dynamic, passionate, and a team player.
  • Adaptability: The ability to be flexible and adapt to changing priorities and requirements is important for this role, as our industry landscape is constantly evolving.
  • Strong organizational skills: The ability to keep track of multiple projects and deadlines is essential for this role, as it involves coordinating and executing multiple initiatives at once.
  • Detail-oriented and ability to work independently: The KAM will be responsible for managing their own workload and should be able to work independently and with attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of travel industry: Understanding the travel industry and the specific challenges and opportunities it presents.
  • To come up with new and innovative ideas for marketing campaigns and materials is a plus for this role.
  • Contracting experience gained with the hotel industry.
  • Able to develop and maintain strong and trusting relationships with hoteliers.
  • Well-developed written and verbal communication skills.
