Little Q is a well-established café committed to delivering high-quality food and service. We are an Accredited Employer under Immigration New Zealand’s work visa scheme and are currently looking for a dedicated Kitchen Hand to join our team.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist chefs in food preparation and cooking
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen
• Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment
• Store and organise kitchen supplies properly
• Follow food safety and health regulations
• Assist with basic food handling and plating as required

Requirements

We are looking for a reliable and motivated individual who meets the following criteria:

• Previous experience in a kitchen environment is preferred but not essential
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and a team-oriented attitude
• Willingness to follow food safety and hygiene protocols

**Work Visa Requirements (if applicable):**

• At least two years of relevant work experience (as per March 2025 immigration rule changes)
• A wage that meets the market rate for kitchen hand roles
• Compliance with Immigration NZ’s Job Check process

Salary:

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $24.00 – $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 per week
