ULTIMATE CARE ROSE LODGE - CASUAL KITCHEN HAND

The Ultimate Care Group is a privately owned Specialist Residential Aged Care Services Provider. We offer rest home, hospital, and dementia care to the elderly in 19 residential facilities throughout New Zealand with Ultimate Care Rose Lodge nestled in the heart of Invercargill.


An opportunity has arisen for an energetic and friendly person to join our team at Rose Lodge. This is a casual contract position on an as and when required basis.


Your responsibilities will include:

• Following the requirements of the Food Control Plan to ensure that all elements are completed as documented
• Cleaning of all kitchen surfaces including washing dishes and removing rubbish from the kitchen
• Working with the chef to unload and put away stock
• Supporting the chef with food preparation

Our ideal candidate will:

• Be outgoing, friendly and have a can-do attitude
• Enjoy providing top class customer service to ensure a great dining experience to our residents and their guests
• Have the ability to provide high quality and timely support for the Chef
• Have prior experience with food preparation and presentation is preferable
• Enjoy working autonomously as well as part of a team.
