Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking person to join our dynamic kitchen team. This person plays a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of our kitchen and dining areas, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are spotless and ready for use. This position is essential in supporting our culinary staff and enhancing the overall dining experience for our guests.

Duties

• Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen area by sweeping, mopping, and disposing of waste as needed.
• Assist in food preparation tasks as directed by the kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during busy service periods.
• Help maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages to management.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to support overall food service operations in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
• Knowledge of basic food handling and safety practices is a plus.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards helping others in the kitchen.
• Must be able to stand for long periods and lift heavy items as needed.
