In this role, you will help Monika in the kitchen prepping food for dinner service and during dinner service help cook, heat and plate our menu items ensuring the dining experience exceeds expectations. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help create memorable moments for our guests, whether they’re enjoying a casual meal or celebrating a special occasion. Duties

• Prep and prepare food items such as vegetables, spaetzle, soups and stews effectively being our sous chef.
• Come in before dinner service to assist in the creation of our menu items.
• During dinner service bread and cook breaded chicken and pork schnitzel carefully to ensure moist but crispy finished product
• Plate entrees according to our standards to ensure proper quantity, quality and presentation
• Prep and plate desserts such as crepes, strudels etc in a way that meets our standards and presents well
• Clean as you go, load dishwasher as needed, clean items as needed to reuse.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all areas of the kitchen in accordance with food safety regulations
• Support team members during busy periods by providing excellent customer service and efficient food delivery
• Follow all food handling protocols to ensure safety and sanitation in compliance with health regulations

Skills

• Proven experience in a commercial kitchen in a fast-paced restaurant environment, preferably with fine dining experience
• Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume shifts
• Knowledge how to deal with different food items such as meat, vegetables, berries etc
• Knowledge of different cooking techniques such as saute, sear, soups, stews etc
• Experience with food handling, sanitation practices, and food safety standards in the food industry
• Knowledge of culinary terminology and kitchen operations for better team interactions
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members across front-of-house and back-of-house roles
• Hospitality-oriented mindset with a passion for delivering memorable guest experiences
• Ability to speak Hungarian a PLUS

Pay: $15.00 per hour
