Kitchen Helper/Cook

Position Summary:

We are looking for a Kitchen Cook and Kitchen Helper to join our team. The Cook will be responsible for preparing high-quality pizzas, pastas, and salads according to our recipes. The Helper will assist in food preparation, maintain cleanliness, and support kitchen operations, including dishwashing.

Key Responsibilities:

Kitchen Cook:

Prepare and cook pizzas, pastas, and salads according to our recipes and standards.

• Ensure food quality, presentation, and portion control meet company guidelines.
• Maintain a clean and organized cooking station at all times.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures.
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate shortages to the kitchen manager.
• Work as part of a team to ensure smooth and efficient service during busy periods.

Kitchen Helper:

• Assist in food preparation (chopping, portioning, assembling dishes).
• Support cooks in preparing pizzas, pastas, and salads as needed.
• Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment using proper sanitation procedures.
• Keep kitchen areas clean, organized, and safe.
• Remove trash and ensure proper waste disposal.
• Assist with stock rotation and ingredient storage.

Requirements:

• Previous kitchen or food prep experience is an asset, but not required (we provide training).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and commitment to food safety.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.85 per hour
