We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Porter to join our team at Walker 1781, a vibrant and busy venue in the heart of Sligo.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, including dishes, utensils, and floors
- Assist chefs with basic food preparation
- Follow hygiene and safety standards (HACCP compliant)
- Manage deliveries, waste, and kitchen organization
- Support the kitchen team during busy service times
Requirements
- Previous experience in a kitchen or hospitality setting preferred (not essential)
- Strong work ethic and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication and team player attitude
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends
- Willingness to learn – full training provided
