Kitchen Porter / Cleaner

Job Purpose:

To maintain a clean, hygienic, and safe kitchen environment by ensuring all kitchen equipment, utensils, and workspaces are cleaned and organized. The Kitchen Porter supports chefs and kitchen staff in food preparation and kitchen operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Wash dishes, pots, pans, and kitchen utensils efficiently and thoroughly.
• Clean and sanitize all kitchen surfaces, including floors, walls, counters, and equipment.
• Assist with basic food preparation when required (e.g., peeling vegetables, preparing ingredients).
• Dispose of kitchen waste according to health and safety standards.
• Receive and store deliveries appropriately, checking for freshness and quality.
• Refill kitchen supplies such as soap, towels, and cleaning agents.
• Comply with food safety and hygiene regulations at all times.
• Support chefs and other kitchen staff in maintaining kitchen flow and organization.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: €13.50-€13.60 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 39 per week
