Kitchen Steward

We need a hardworking person who can get in and help with a variety of kitchen tasks. In addition to unloading dirty dishes brought in by bussers, you will be scraping, sorting, and loading dishes into the dishwashing machine. Compensation:

$16 - $17 hourly

Responsibilities:

• Sweep and scrub kitchen floors to maintain a clean and tidy working environment
• Attend regular employee meetings that will help you stay current on all procedures and safety protocols
• Sort dishes, scrape plates, and rinse glassware before loading into the dishwashing machine
• Ensure appropriate levels of detergent and cleaning supplies while also keeping track of dishwashing machine mechanical problems
• Unload the dishwashing machine and place utensils and dishes in appropriate storage areas

Qualifications:

• Great physical health and stamina
• We prefer some experience working in the food service industry
• Educational requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent
• Candidates must be hardworking, detail-oriented, and have a strong work ethic
