Kitchen Team Member

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Kitchen Team Member to join our culinary team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting in the preparation and presentation of high-quality meals in a fast-paced kitchen environment. You will work closely with chefs and other kitchen staff to ensure food safety standards are met while providing exceptional service to our guests.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of food items according to recipes and menu specifications.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including workstations and equipment.
• Follow all food safety guidelines and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
• Operate kitchen equipment such as knives, mixers, ovens, and grills safely and efficiently.
• Support menu planning by providing input on seasonal ingredients and dish ideas.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during meal periods.
• Participate in catering events as needed, helping with setup, service, and cleanup.
• Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages.

Requirements

• Previous experience in the food industry or food service is preferred but not mandatory.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and dietary department standards is a plus.
• Strong knife skills and familiarity with various cooking techniques are advantageous.
• A passion for culinary arts, catering, or restaurant operations is essential.
• Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to follow directions accurately.
