A Full-time position has become available for a Cook based at our Mainfreight Whangarei branch. We are looking for an enthusiastic and energetic individual as this is a very busy role, currently catering for 30 team members daily.

Duties will involve but not limited to:

• Food preparation
• Serving of meals
• Cleaning
• Ordering, controlling stock and sticking to a budget
• Other day to day tasks as they arise

The hours required are based around a 6–8 hour day between the hours of 7am – 3pm, Monday to Friday. There may be times for additional hours through our peak season.

• Has a very good understanding of the food safety regulations

Food handling & safety certification would be advantageous, however the right person for the position will be put through a food training certification course if required.
