Laboratory Technician For Animal Health Industry

The Laboratory Technician supports the Quality Control team in performing routine testing, sample preparation, documentation, and lab maintenance activities. This position plays a vital role in ensuring that raw materials, in-process samples, and finished veterinary products meet established quality standards. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and knowledgeable in basic lab procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation and analysis of samples (raw materials, bulk, and finished products) following established test methods and SOPs.
• Conduct basic laboratory tests such as pH, loss on drying, moisture content, titration, and other wet chemistry procedures.
• Operate and support maintenance of laboratory equipment such as balances, pH meters, ovens, and spectrophotometers.
• Prepare reagents, solutions, and standard samples as needed for analysis.
• Accurately record and report test results in lab worksheets and logbooks.
• Assist analysts during more advanced instrumental analyses (e.g., HPLC, UV-Vis, FTIR).
• Ensure cleanliness and orderliness of the laboratory at all times.
• Follow safety and hygiene protocols in handling samples and chemicals.
• Support inventory monitoring of laboratory supplies and chemicals.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of BS in Chemistry, Chemical Technology, Pharmacy, Biology, or a related course.
• Preferably a Licensed Chemical Technician (PRC).
• At least 1 year of experience in a laboratory environment, preferably in pharmaceutical or veterinary manufacturing.
• Familiarity with basic analytical testing and lab equipment.
• Knowledge of cGMP, GLP, and Good Documentation Practices (GDP) is an advantage.
• Willing to work on-site in San Mateo, Rizal, and on shifting schedules if needed.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Php16,000.00 - Php17,500.00 per month
