Qualifications:

  • Experience: 2+ years of professional gardening or landscaping experience, with some leadership skills. Experience in landscape maintenance, planting, plant health care, pruning, and record-keeping is a plus.
  • Planting Skills: Previous professional experience in soft-scaping, annual planting, and container planting is an asset.
  • Horticultural Knowledge: Advanced understanding of plant ID. & plant care, and landscape maintenance practices.
  • Leadership Skills: Time management and communication abilities in a Garden/ maintenance role, ensuring high-quality work.
  • Equipment Proficiency: Comfortable and experienced in using landscaping equipment, such as mowers, line trimmers, blowers, and other garden tools.
  • Driver’s License: A clean G class driver’s license is an asset. (driver’s abstract required)
  • Physical Demands: Ability to work in all weather conditions and perform physical tasks, including lifting and long hours.
  • Work Ethic: A strong commitment to quality, reliability, and customer satisfaction, with a track record of delivering excellent results.
