LMG Services, a premier landscaping company in Lexington, Kentucky, is seeking a detail-oriented Landscape Technician to join our team. As a Landscape Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and precision of our landscaping projects. You will work in the field, focusing on garden beds, and adding finishing touches to installation projects. Your attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness will be essential in delivering high-quality results that exceed client expectations.

Responsibilities:

• Perform maintenance tasks such as weeding, pruning, and general upkeep of landscaped areas.
• Work in garden beds, ensuring meticulous attention to detail with hand tools for planting, edging, grading, and mulching.
• Add finishing touches to landscaping projects, including installing decorative elements and installing and adjusting irrigation systems,
• Maintain cleanliness and organization at job sites, leaving each site thoroughly clean and presentable before completion.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and effective completion of projects, while also being able to work independently when necessary.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and team members.
• Be in excellent physical health to work for extended times standing, walking, on knees, and moving supplies up to 75 pounds.
• Know how to properly install trees, shrubs, perennials, and annuals.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in landscaping or related field preferred, but a great attitude and willingness to learn are even more important.
• Proficiency in using hand tools and equipment commonly used in landscaping projects.
• Strong attention to detail and a meticulous approach to work.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently.
• Excellent communication skills and excellent attendance.
• Physical stamina and ability to perform tasks that may require bending, lifting, and working in various weather conditions.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Be able to pass a drug test and submit to a background check.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
