Lawn Maintenance Worker

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring that our facilities and landscapes are well-maintained and functional. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge, experience with power and hand tools, and a passion for landscape maintenance. This position requires a proactive approach to maintaining the grounds and facilities, ensuring they are safe, clean, and aesthetically pleasing.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance tasks on buildings and grounds, including repairs and upkeep.
• Utilize power tools and hand tools for various maintenance projects.
• Assist in landscape maintenance activities such as mowing, trimming, and irrigation.
• Dig and prepare areas for planting or landscaping projects.
• Build structures as needed for garden enhancements or facility improvements.
• Maintain gardens by planting, watering, weeding, and fertilizing as required.
• Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify issues that need attention.
• Collaborate with other team members to complete larger maintenance projects efficiently.

Requirements

• Proven experience in maintenance or a related field is preferred.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
• Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools safely and effectively.
• Experience in landscape maintenance is a plus, including knowledge of irrigation systems.
• Ability to dig, plant, and maintain gardens effectively.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality work.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks throughout the day.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $18.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 50 per week
