About the Role:
We are looking for a skilled and dedicated Light Commercial Vehicle Mechanic to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining light commercial vehicles, ensuring they meet safety and regulatory standards. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for mechanics and a commitment to quality workmanship. There is heavy goods vehicles also in our fleet.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic tests to identify issues in light commercial vehicles.
• Complete vehicle repairs and maintenance tasks including brakes, suspension, electrical systems, and engine repairs.
• Ensure all work complies with safety standards and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct routine maintenance checks and services to prevent future vehicle issues.
• Work with a team to complete jobs efficiently and within designated timelines.
• Maintain detailed records of services and repairs performed.
• Keep up to date with advancements in vehicle diagnostics and technology.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a mechanic, preferably with light commercial vehicles.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle diagnostic systems and methods.
• Familiarity with safety and regulatory standards in vehicle repair.
• Ability to work both independently and within a team environment.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills and a customer-focused mindset.
• Relevant mechanical certifications or trade qualifications.

Desirable:

• Experience working with a variety of light commercial vehicle models.
