Lead Business Analyst, People & Hr

Then we need your help to shape and drive our People & HR data strategy across Visma!

We are a group of 190 companies in 34 countries. In this role, you will be a central player in transforming HR through data. You will be at the intersection of HR leadership and our data teams, making sure our HR data is transformed into meaningful insights and useful tools that enable strategic decision-making across the employee lifecycle.

You will be in charge of the HR data strategy, leading the vision, strategy, and roadmap for people data offerings across Visma, while also promoting a culture of data-informed decision-making within HR. This is a full-time position located in Oslo, but we offer flexibility for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Owning the HR Analytics data strategy: The Lead Business Analytics is responsible for leading the domain strategy. You will define and execute the strategy for people-related data across the organisation, keeping broader HR and business goals in mind. You will also determine the most important data sources and focus areas for the team.

  • Shaping data & AI products: You will be the one setting the vision for what to build and what business problems should be solved. You will also determine how to create the most value with the organisation's people data.

  • Data governance & quality: You’ll often collaborate with relevant stakeholders, to make sure that our people-related data is accurate, consistent and compliant.

What We're Looking For:

  • The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in HR Analytics, HR, Business Development, or similar roles.

  • We are looking for someone with a deep understanding of HR processes, people data, and business strategy.

  • The candidate should have strong communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to bring data to life for non-technical audiences.

  • Experience collaborating with data scientists, analysts, and engineers is also required.

  • We need someone who can balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution.

  • Familiarity with platforms like BigQuery, Google Sheets and Looker Studio is a big plus. You must be fluent in both written and spoken English.
