Summary
The Technical Learning & Development (L&D) Associate supports the execution, coordination, and continuous improvement of technical training programs across the organization. Working closely with the Associate Director of Technical L&D, this role ensures the smooth delivery of learning initiatives, maintains training systems, and contributes to the development of engaging, data-driven training solutions.
This position is ideal for individuals with a foundation in accounting or finance who are interested in combining technical knowledge with learning, development, and organizational growth.
Responsibilities
1. Training Monitoring & Reporting
- Track training attendance, completion rates, and learner progress using Zoho and other LMS platforms;
- Consolidate training feedback, assessment results, and evaluation data;
- Prepare periodic reports and dashboards to support data-driven decision-making;
- Identify trends and provide insights to improve training effectiveness and learner engagement.
2. Training Development Support
- Conduct research to support the development of technical training materials aligned with business needs;
- Assist in creating and editing learning content, including presentations, guides, and videos (e.g., using Clipchamp or similar tools);
- Support the creation and upload of courses, modules, and learning paths within Zoho LMS;
- Ensure training materials are accurate, up-to-date, and aligned with internal processes and SOPs.
3. Coordination & Stakeholder Communication
- Coordinate with various departments to organize training schedules, facilitators, and session requirements;
- Act as a liaison between L&D and Client Services departments to ensure smooth execution of training programs;
- Log, track, and monitor Technical Inquiries and Monthly Technical Reminders;
- Support communication efforts related to training announcements, updates, and participation.
4. Operational & Administrative Support
- Maintain training calendars and ensure timely updates of ongoing and upcoming programs (e.g., via Kubo or internal platforms);
- Keep L&D trackers and project management tools current and organized;
- Assist in maintaining and updating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and process documentation;
- Provide general administrative and operational support for L&D initiatives and projects.
5. Learning Systems & Continuous Improvement
- Support the administration and optimization of Zoho and other learning platforms;
- Assist in implementing improvements to learning processes, tools, and workflows;
- Contribute ideas to enhance learner experience using digital tools, multimedia, and emerging technologies;
- Ensure data accuracy and consistency across all training systems.
Qualifications
Must be interested in Learning & Development, instructional design, and training. Exposure to financial services or fund administration operations, Comfort working with digital tools, systems, and evolving technologies, including AI-driven learning tools.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Education, or a related field;
- 0–3 years of relevant experience in L&D, training coordination, accounting, or fund administration;
- Basic understanding of accounting concepts (fund accounting knowledge is a strong advantage).
Skills & Competencies
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with high attention to detail;
- Effective communication and coordination abilities across teams;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint;
- Familiarity with Canva or similar design tools is a plus;
- Experience with or willingness to learn Zoho applications and LMS platforms;
- Basic content creation skills (video editing tools such as Clipchamp are a plus);
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and generate insights;
- Proactive, adaptable, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.
