Legal Assistant/Paralegal

Bosshard Parke Ltd. of La Crosse, Wisconsin is looking for a legal assistant or paralegal. The successful candidate will be flexible and able to provide diverse assistance among various areas of law. Prior office experience preferred. The practice of law is an ever-evolving learning experience. We look forward to bringing you into that process and mentoring you to hone the skills required.

In this position, you will work closely with our attorneys to complete tasks including:

- Word processing software applications

- Answering phones and providing customer service

- Communication with clients

- Draft and prepare correspondence, pleadings, contracts

- Organizing and managing documents and client files

- Aid attorneys with client preparation and research

- Assisting with the preparation, filing and service of pleadings

Skills:

- Excellent written and oral communication skills and organizational skills

- Positive attitude and enthusiasm

- Microsoft Office expertise including Word, Excel and Outlook

- Ability to learn new software and incorporate that into daily tasks

- Ability to prioritize workload and assignments
