As a Line Cook, you will play a vital role in meal preparation, ensuring that dishes are prepared to perfection while adhering to food safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations.
• Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping, marinating, and measuring.
• Ensure proper food handling and storage procedures are followed to maintain food safety.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
• Follow all health and safety regulations in the kitchen environment.

Skills

• Proficient in food handling techniques and food service practices.
• Experience in meal preparation within a restaurant or kitchen setting.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff.
• Familiarity with various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.40-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 per week
