Line Cook
  • Food Preparation: Line cooks prepare ingredients by chopping, dicing, and slicing vegetables, meats, and other items. They may also prepare sauces, dressings, and other components of dishes.
  • Plating and Presentation: Line cooks ensure that dishes are presented according to the restaurant's standards, paying attention to detail and portion sizes.
  • Station Maintenance: They are responsible for keeping their assigned station clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies.
  • Inventory Management: Depending on the restaurant, they may also be involved in managing inventory, monitoring stock levels, and minimizing waste.
