Line Cook/Prep Cook

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook food items according to the restaurant's menu and standards.
• Ensure all food is cooked to order and served in a timely manner.
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a clean and organized kitchen.
• Assist in stocking and replenishing kitchen supplies and ingredients.
• Maintain proper portion control and minimize food waste.
• Set up and clean workstations, ensuring a safe cooking environment.
• Work collaboratively with kitchen staff to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
• Assist with training new kitchen staff as needed.
• Follow recipes and presentation guidelines to ensure consistent quality and taste.
• Monitor food quality and freshness, reporting any issues to the kitchen manager.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Line Cook or in a similar role in a fast-paced kitchen environment is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, food safety standards, and kitchen equipment.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and multitask.
• Excellent time-management and organizational skills.
• Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately.
• Positive attitude, team player, and willingness to contribute to a collaborative environment.
• Ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy items, and work in a hot kitchen environment.
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php645.00 - Php800.00 per day
