We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our culinary team. This role is essential in ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently, contributing to the overall dining experience of our guests.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards, ensuring consistency and quality.
• Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping, slicing, and measuring.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including workstations and equipment.
• Follow food safety guidelines and proper food handling procedures at all times.
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
• Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and communicate needs to management.
• Participate in daily kitchen operations, including meal preparation and cooking tasks.

Skills

• Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a restaurant or kitchen setting.
• Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues.
• Familiarity with various cooking techniques, equipment, and kitchen tools.
• Previous experience in the food industry is preferred but not mandatory.
