Line Cook/Supervisor
Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our dynamic kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food industry and a commitment to delivering high-quality meals in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in food preparation and meal assembly, ensuring that every dish meets our standards for taste and presentation.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
- Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner, maintaining high quality and presentation.
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines, including proper food handling techniques.
- Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during service hours.
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including workstations, utensils, and equipment.
- Help train new kitchen staff in food preparation techniques and safety practices.
- Participate in menu planning and development by providing input on seasonal dishes or specials.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant setting is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- A passion for cooking and willingness to learn new techniques in meal preparation.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
