Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Line Cook / Kitchen Supervisor to join our team at Tillicum Centre. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food quality, and kitchen cleanliness. We expect candidates will have at least 2 years experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Strong communication skills are KEY to this role. You will be expected to lead your shift (you+ up to 2) and have an overwhelming positive energy for customer interactions.

Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients for cooking
- Cook menu items and supervise cooking to maintain a uniform food quality
- Follow recipes and presentation specifications
- Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are met
- Maintain food inventory in the kitchen - understand storage and supply
- Maintain a clean and orderly kitchen, follow daily temp checks
- Have a firm understanding of POS
- Supervise young crew members
Experience
- Proven experience as a Line Cook or relevant role
- Knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
- Understanding of food safety practices, current Foodsafe lv. 1 REQUIRED
- Ability to work well in a team setting, and under pressure, in public.
- FOH or Sales experience an asset
