Linux L3 Support In Singapore

Responsibilities:

• Build and Upgrade of Red Hat Linux and Windows Operating Systems to latest.
• Installation/Configuration/Upgrade of Servers
• Study the Servers Inventory and assess to qualify for OS Upgrade
• Perform the preparation work required for OS Upgrade
• Proactively resolve the issues leading up to Upgrade Window.
• Perform the OS Upgrade activities including Patching, Hardening, rollback (if needed).
• Preventive/Proactive Support
• Incident/Change/Problem Management
• Support for post-build activities like Hardening, detailed verification.
• Other IT Infrastructure Related Tasks
• Able to support on weekends/ roster as per Change implementation tasks.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Having 8+ years of extensive experience in Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.x/7.x/8.x/9.x Administration and Windows 2008/2012/2016/2019.
• Must Have: Intensive experience in Build/Upgrade of RHEL and Windows Servers
• Experience with using Patching tools like Bigfix, SCCM, etc.
• Hands-on experience on Ansible, Chef tools to perform Hardening.
• Knowledge of using Jira, Bitbucket, Jenkins pipelines.
• Experience with Scripting like Shell, Bash, PowerShell, Python.
• Deep understanding of HPE ProLiant, Dell Hardware and VMWare.
• Professional understanding of networking related to RHEL/Windows
• Professional understanding of SAN Storage related to RHEL/Windows
• Good understanding of large Data Center Facilities operation
• Hands-On experience supporting Infrastructure and Security agents (NetBackup, BMC Patrol etc.)
