Position Summary

Responsible for coordinating listener engagement efforts for the Shine.FM Network of radio stations. This position serves through engaging listeners, volunteers, and churches while working with our connections team.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
1. Coordinate all listener engagement efforts through community outreach events.
2. Manage student and volunteer teams as a part of Shine.FM Concerts.
3. Maintain a volunteer base of listeners to support station efforts.
4. Work to collect new names for the station and university database at all community appearances, contests, concerts, and events.
5. Communicate with leaders at local community organizations also working to help change lives in the Shine Communities for the purpose of strengthening partnerships.
6. Attends staff meetings as required for coordination of staff and resources
7. Follows standards of conduct set by Olivet Nazarene University.
8. Displays respect for team members, their roles, and responsibilities.
9. Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required
- A lifestyle in agreement with the ONU Statement of Mission, Faith, and Lifestyle Covenant.

- Proficiency in standard office computer software tools (i.e.: word, excel, outlook, etc.).
- Valid Driver’s License.
Performance
1. Engagement excellence – increase in number of listeners through engagement events.
2. Donor support – everyone is part of the team when it comes to creating avenues for more donor support. Listener Engagement should find creative ways to attract more donors to Shine.FM outside of pledge drives.

1. Events and contests are fitting for audience.

1. Professional Growth—Displaying continued skill development from self-improvements or other training resources.
Additional Information
EDUCATION
Bachelor’s Degree Required.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Bourbonnais, IL office.
SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION
The salary for this position is $16.50/hour.
Regular Part-Time Staff work an average of 20 hours per week over the course of a year.
- Employer retirement contribution begins on first day of full-time employment and is 100 percent vested at that time.
