Live-in Home Caregiver (Group Home) – All Bills Paid

We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Live-in Home Caregiver to join our team and provide personalized care in a group home setting. The ideal candidate will have experience or familiarity with Home and Community-based Services (HCS) and a strong commitment to supporting individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, or those requiring long-term care.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities, including hygiene, meals, and mobility.
• Administer medications and monitor vital signs as needed.
• Provide companionship and engage clients in social activities to promote mental well-being.
• Support individuals with developmental disabilities and autism through tailored care approaches.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, adhering to HIPAA regulations at all times.
• Document client progress and report any changes in health or behavior to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
• Collaborate with nurses and other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care.

Experience

• Previous HCS experience or a related field is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of long-term care practices and first aid is beneficial.
• Familiarity with working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism is a plus.
• Must demonstrate strong communication skills, empathy, and patience in all interactions.
• Ability to follow care plans developed by healthcare professionals while being adaptable to changing client needs.
