Loader Operator

Overview:

We are currently seeking a motivated Loader Operator experienced in operating Komatsu loaders equipped with grapple, forks, and bucket attachments. This is a fast-paced position that plays a key role in keeping our sawmill operations running smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate a Komatsu loader with grapple, forks, and bucket attachments
• Unload log trucks and load product onto outbound trucks
• Empty trash hoppers and perform general yard handling tasks
• Get in and out of the loader multiple times per day to measure, tag, and place dunnage
• Ensure the correct materials are loaded or unloaded by reviewing BOLs and load sheets
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Communicate effectively with yard, sawmill, and shipping teams

What We’re Looking For:

• Ambitious and willing to learn—previous loader experience preferred, but we will train the right candidate
• Strong attention to detail, especially when reviewing load documentation
• Physically capable of climbing in and out of heavy equipment throughout the day
• Able to work in a fast-paced, outdoor industrial environment
• Dependable and safety-oriented

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
