Logistics Supervisor

The Logistics Supervisor essentially oversees the shipping and delivery of products, managing the loading of trucks, setting up delivery routes and unloading of products, and maintain communications with carriers, suppliers, warehouses, custom brokers and others involved in the shipping, third party logistics provider and delivery of merchandise.

Priority Tasks:

· Strategically plan and manage logistics, operations, transportation and customer services

· Direct, optimize and coordinate full order cycle

· Keep track of quality, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency

· Plan routes and process shipments

· Resolve any arising problems or complaints

· Supervise, coach and train logistics workforce

· Meet cost, productivity, accuracy and timeliness targets

· Maintain metrics and analyze data to assess performance and implement improvements

· Comply with laws, regulations and ISO requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Logistics, Business, Supply Chain or equivalent course.
• 2 years accumulated experience in Warehouse, 3PL and Inventory Management
• With at least 2 years of proven experience in the field of Logistics including third party trucking/ logistics in the same position.
• With experience in handling Cargo Trucks, and has technical knowledge when it comes to its repair and maintenance.
• Knowledgeable of fleet or trucking management system
• Work experience with warehouse people, dispatchers, to Operations Officers.
• With knowledge in ISO
• Willing to be assigned in Quezon City
