Job Summary:
As a Logistics Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing a variety of logistics functions, including order entry, shipment tracking, stock management, and resolving any issues related to order fulfillment. You will work closely with both internal teams and external partners to ensure the smooth operation of logistics processes, ensuring compliance with industry regulations, and meeting customer expectations.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Purchase Order Entry and Management:
- Liaise with Masimo’s international internal resources to track and manage backorder status.
- Customer Support:
- Respond promptly to customer queries related to Proof of Delivery (PODs), shipment tracking, and order status.
- Manage customer concerns regarding order status and other related issues, providing effective solutions in collaboration with the relevant teams.
- Shipping and Sales Orders:
- Oversee the shipping of Sales Orders, ensuring that customer orders are processed, packed, and shipped accurately.
- Pick, pack, and ship customer orders, verifying correct pricing, delivery details, and addressing any discrepancies.
- Receiving and Stock Management:
- Receive goods, including stock replenishment orders, and input inventory data into the ERP system.
- Visually inspect and unpack received goods, ensuring they are stored correctly and placed on shelves in the warehouse.
- Order and Delivery Issue Resolution:
- Coordinate with relevant departments (internal and external) to resolve any issues related to orders and deliveries.
- Ensure that customer delivery concerns are addressed promptly and appropriately by working closely with cross-functional teams.
- Stocktaking and Inventory Control:
- Assist in regular stocktaking and inventory management activities, ensuring stock levels are accurately maintained.
- Monitor inventory levels to avoid stockouts or excess stock and ensure that replenishment orders are placed timely.
- Coordination and Problem Solving:
- Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, customer service, and production, to resolve issues related to ongoing or completed orders and projects.
- Address and resolve any quality or logistical concerns raised by customers or internal stakeholders.
- Reporting and Documentation:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for all logistics activities, including shipments, receipts, and inventory records.
- Prepare and submit logistics reports on order status, stock levels, and other relevant key performance indicators (KPIs).
Minimum & Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
Minimum Qualifications:
- At least 5 years of experience in logistics or supply chain roles, preferably within the medical device or regulated industry.
- Experience with ERP systems and inventory management tools.
- Familiarity with shipping regulations, documentation, and compliance in the medical field.
Skills:
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively with internal teams, customers, and external partners.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to address logistical challenges in a timely manner.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in managing orders, shipments, and inventory.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), and familiarity with ERP systems.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Education
Bachelor’s degree preferred
Physical requirements/Work Environment
This position primarily works outside of a traditional office environment, It requires frequent sitting, standing, walking and lifting (must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds). Daily use of a computer and other computing and digital devices is required. May stand for extended periods when performing their duties.
