We’re looking for a proactive Finance Business Partner — a full‑time role based in Sydney .

About The Role:

As our Finance Business Partner, you’ll play a key role in shaping the finance team. You’ll take ownership of delivering accurate reporting, maintaining strong controls, and providing clear insights. Working closely with the Head of Finance, you’ll lead management and statutory reporting, support budgeting and forecasting, and keep day‑to‑day finance operations running smoothly.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee financial accounting, reporting, and compliance, including month‑end and year‑end close, internal controls, and tax obligations
  • Lead the preparation of timely management accounts, statutory reports, and coordination of external audits
  • Support budgeting and forecasting processes
  • Manage day‑to‑day finance operations and ensure strong financial governance across the team

About You:

  • Degree in accounting or finance, with a CPA or CA qualification
  • 5+ years’ experience in senior finance or accounting roles
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge, including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls
  • Exceptional attention to detail while still maintaining a broader strategic view
  • Proven ability to deliver meaningful financial insights that support business performance
  • Advanced Excel and financial modelling capability, with experience using ERP systems
  • Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills, with the ability to engage both financial and non‑financial stakeholders
